Auto-Schedule Facebook and Instagram with Meet Meg

Auto-Schedule Social Media Across All Four Platforms

Meet Meg now supports auto-scheduling and auto-publishing for Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts, joining the existing LinkedIn and X (Twitter) integrations. This means you can manage all four major social platforms from a single dashboard — generate content, preview it in platform-specific formats, and schedule it to publish at the optimal time.

How to Connect Your Accounts

Setup takes under three minutes. Head to Settings, then Social Connections, and link your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account via OAuth. No passwords are stored — it uses the same secure connection method used by every major scheduling tool on the market.

Once connected, you'll see Facebook and Instagram as platform options alongside LinkedIn and X whenever you create content. Meg will generate a platform-specific version of each post automatically.

Platform-Specific Formatting That Actually Matters

Meg doesn't copy-paste the same post to every platform. Each version is tailored to the norms of the channel:

  • Facebook: longer, conversational posts that invite comments and encourage sharing with your followers' networks
  • Instagram: caption-optimised content with relevant hashtags (up to 30) and line breaks formatted for readability on mobile
  • LinkedIn: professional tone with industry-specific hooks and a structure that performs well in the algorithm
  • X: concise, direct posts or thread-formatted content for longer topics that need more space to develop

This distinction matters more than most business owners realise. A LinkedIn post that works well will often perform poorly on Instagram not because the idea is bad, but because the format and tone are wrong for the context. Meg handles that translation automatically.

Auto-Schedule or Choose Specific Times

For each platform, you can either let Meg choose optimal publishing slots based on when your audience is most active, or manually specify the days and times you prefer. You can also queue posts for immediate review before they go live, or set fully automated publishing if you prefer a hands-off approach.

For small businesses trying to maintain consistent posting across multiple platforms without a marketing team, this is a significant time saving. Most users who connect all four platforms report going from an hour or more of weekly social media management to under fifteen minutes of content review.

If you're evaluating whether this is the right tool for your situation, read our guide on how to automate social media posts for a full breakdown of how social automation works in practice. If you're new to social media consistency as a strategy, staying consistent as a one-person team covers the system that makes it sustainable.

What Is Coming Next

We are currently building native analytics integration for Facebook and Instagram, so you'll be able to see exactly how your posts perform across all four channels inside the Meg dashboard — without logging in to multiple platforms. This will be available in a future update. Stay tuned.
